Respawn Entertainment has announced that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, which it announced earlier this year, will be released in 2023. Making statements at the Star Wars Celebration event in Anaheim, the game maker company announced that Jedi: Survivor is a direct sequel to Star Wars: Fallen Order, the action-adventure game released in 2019. The game’s protagonist, Cal Kestis (and his droid friend BD-1), will appear as one of the last remaining Jedi in the galaxy ruled by the Empire.
The producer company said that Jedi: Survivor will improve the combat system. Some players stated that Jedi: Fallen Order’s combat mechanics are weak and announced that there will be developments in this direction. Jedi: Survivor is planned to be released in 2023, the company explained the reason for the late release of the game as follows; Respawn is currently developing it for the latest generation consoles, specifically Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, but it will be released for PCs as well. The studio doesn’t seem to have any release plans for older consoles like the Xbox One and PS4. said
