Jedi Fallen Order has made an impression as one of the best recent games in the Lucasfilm franchise. However, it may well be that we learn a little more about its sequel very soon.
Released in November 2019 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order quickly established itself as a must in the category of Star Wars games, but also games period. With its gripping story located between episode 3 and episode 4 of the films, its actors and its high-level scenario, but above all its dynamic, accessible and satisfying gameplay, Fallen Order quickly became the keystone of the current success of the famous science fiction franchise in the field of video games. It was also an opportunity for Respawn Entertainment to prove its ability to master “Star Wars games” and establish itself as the undisputed darling of Electronic Arts, at the expense of DICE stuck with the massacres that were Battlefront 2 and Battlefield 2042. However, we know that Respawn Entertainment is in full development of the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and the big information of the day is around this subject since it seems that the title of the game has been revealed by some rumors.
It is therefore Jeff Grubb, the famous author, designer and above all “leaker” who is at the origin of this leak, which we imagine relatively voluntary. The next Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order could therefore be called Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. An adequate title for the sequel to Cal’s adventures, grappling with an Empire as young as it is violent and tracking down the least survivors of Order 66. But in addition to a title, an exit period (2023) and the assurance that the teams from Respawn Entertainment are currently working on the subject, no other information has yet appeared on this second part. We will of course have to wait for the next big events such as the arrival of the series Obi-Wan Kenobi and the EA Play 2022 to hope to put a little more in the tooth.
