Star Wars in the game? Fans are convinced

It was past noon when Square Enix surprised everyone by releasing the very first trailer for Kingdom Hearts IV, which no one saw coming, you have to admit. If the less cartoony graphics and its more reality-centered background were at the heart of all the discussions, some fans began to analyze the trailer in its smallest details. For them, there is no doubt, one of the new universes that the game will explore is that of Star Wars. To support their words, some Internet users have lingered on this forest which appears at the very beginning of the trailer and therefore the resemblances are obviously reminiscent of that of the planet of Endor.

It is all the more disturbing that at one point, we see at the top of the screen a piece of metal which strongly resembles the foot of an AT-ST, these bipedal war machines which were used precisely against the Ewoks during the battle against the Ewoks. Inevitably, with the takeover of the Star Wars license by Disney several years ago, it would not be disconcerting to see the series tumble into Kingdom Hearts IV, especially if this episode is intended to be more mature in its proposal. It remains to be seen which Star Wars characters we could well see in the game, knowing that Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, The Mandalorian and Grogu seem to be the privileged protagonists. Wait & see as they say…
