Star Trek star promises that the next series is for “hardcore fans”-and chats a secret sci-fi detail

Star Trek star promises that the next series is for

There is still a lot to do in the Star Trek universe. While fans still hope for a sign of life for the next cinema film, it goes on the TV screen with the new series, among other things Star Trek: Starfleet Academy further.

Jonathan Frakes, Commander Riker from Star Trek: The next century and long-time franchise director, is not in front of the camera, but chatted out of the sewing box this month-and maybe even betrayed more than he would have.

Jonathan Frakes about Star Trek: Starfleet Academy: A new series for hardcore fans

As Collider from the Indiana Comic Convention reports, Frakes raved about the wasteful sets of the new Star Trek series, whereby he slipped out another detail:

It has the most massive Star Trek sets ever. There is also a spaceship in the serieswhat I think of or hope that it is not a damn secret. I am known for this and have had bad experiences with oversharing and hope that wasn’t too much revealed, but it’s fantastic.

The stationary star fleet university therefore has its own spaceship, which of course reminds of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, where the festival-placed space station had the small, battle-addicted USS defiant.

Jonathan Frakes, who was sitting at the event next to his former college: inside Brent Spiner (Data) and Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar), also published Starfleet Academy “Much more for Hardcore fans from Star Trek”. Probably also because you can accommodate historical nerd knowledge about the history of the star fleet and its legendary captains in the university setting.

Finally, frakes staged the episode
