STALKER 2, which was developed in trouble due to the Russia-Ukraine war, has been delayed indefinitely, pre-orders will be returned.
STALKER 2 has been delayed indefinitely. STALKER 2 was normally scheduled for April 2022. However, STALKER 2, which had problems after the start of the Ukraine-Russia war, and even some of its team members were involved in the war with Russia, was then postponed to December 2022. Finally, the inevitable happened, and producer company GSC announced that the game has been delayed “indefinitely”.

Polish news site XGP reported on the email sent to those who pre-ordered the game:
“Thank you for pre-ordering STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. The release date of this game has been postponed to an “indefinite date”. Due to this change, we have canceled your pre-order and refunded your money. Visit Xbox.com for updates on the game’s release date. you can follow.”
After the game has been delayed indefinitely, it’s unclear what the next release date will be or when it will be announced. Presumably, STALKER 2 will be on hold until the war is over. The fate of the second STALKER game, which was seriously expected after the first game, was not very good. But while you wait for the second game, you can check out the fan-made STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl Remastered, which is under development.
