According to the report, the employee must have contacted the young person on social media for some time – both during and after working hours – and also invited the young person to his home. The young person, who came to the HVB home to, among other things, be protected from risky behaviors regarding drugs, must have been offered drugs by the employee on several occasions.
Hanna Victoria Mörck (V), chairman of the social committee, believes that it is good that the problems were discovered.
– This kind of thing shouldn’t happen, but if it does happen, it’s good that it comes to light and that something is done about it, she says.
Exploited dependency
The employee must also have told the youth not to share what happened between them and must therefore have taken advantage of the dependent position between them.
The management of the HVB home became aware of the events at the beginning of April and the employee has since been reported to the police and dismissed. The Inspectorate for Care and Care, IVO, will also investigate what happened at the HVB home.
