Officers seized drugs valued at $6,200, including crystal methamphetamine and fentanyl, a 50-gram gold bar valued at more than $5,000, three flick knives, $1,365 in cash and identification and bank cards, police said.

The owner of the gold bar contacted police on Tuesday to say the bar was stolen when they met someone who had agreed to buy it.

Seven people ranging in age from 30 to 54 face a total of nearly 50 charges, most of them drug and weapons related, police said.

Four people remain in custody.

A 54-year-old who was arrested will be turned over to Nipigon OPP who obtained a warrant for their arrest on charges of sexual interference and an invitation to sexual touching, police said.
