St. George Applefest volunteers were recognized by the Ontario Honors and Awards Secretariat of the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Multiculturalism for their continued service to the festival.

“St. George Apple Fest is dependent on volunteers for the festival to be successful,” said festival coordinator Jean Tucker. “There is a group that works year-round to plan and organize the event. Then there are many who volunteer their time during the festival to make it a success.”
