“We are very relieved that the Safety Region has declared that there are no victims,” Nieuwegein Mayor Marijke van Beukering said. “For the time being, the parking garage is not accessible, we are in consultation with St. Antonius Hospital about other parking options for the near future. It is very nice that St. Antonius has been able to ensure that the emergency department remains open. The investigation into how this was possible happen, is ongoing.”
