Just like in the Diakonessenhuis, the UMC Utrecht, the hospital a few kilometers away, is not yet thinking of a special corona department. This is not necessarily due to the number of corona patients (13 at UMC Utrecht), but mainly to the way the hospital is set up. “We work with insulation boxes,” says spokesman Joris Prinssen. “That is a room with a lock in front of it. As a result, viruses can never get out of that room.”
