Swedish Olympic champion in cross -country skiing Stina Nilsson Won the legendary Vasaloppet skiing on Sunday just less than 11 months after the end of his biathlon career.
Nilsson, 31, announced last April that he would stop biathlon and concentrate on long distance cross -country skiing. On the legendary 90 kilometer of Vasaloppet, she was the number one for the women’s series, as second place in Norway Anikken Gjerde Alnes Feeled to Nilsson by more than five minutes.

Nilsson won sprint gold as cross-country skiers at the 2018 Olympics, and at the next year’s World Cup, he celebrated gold in a couple and message.
In 2020, he surprised me by switching to biathlon. Nilsson was third in the personal race of the Biathlon World Cup (Kontiolahti sprint 2022), but the Swedish star could not break to the very sharpest of the sport.
The best Finn in the Vasaloppet Women’s Series was 20th ranked Heli Heiskanen. He bowed to Nilsson in just over 28 minutes.
Only 18 years old Alvar Myhlback Won the Men’s Vasaloppet as the youngest skier in history. Miro Karppanen was the best Finn 26th.
