On Tuesday, the highest temperature so far this year was measured – in Malmö at over 21 degrees.
Now the cold is coming back.
– The next two weeks will not offer 20 degrees according to the forecast, says TV4 meteorologist Lovisa Svanberg.
Since last Saturday, the days have not only gotten longer, they have also gotten warmer. But a low pressure from the Atlantic causes it for spring feelings.
– Now there are other waves coming in with temperatures between 6-12 degrees in southern Sweden and occasional plus degrees in the north, says meteorologist Lovisa Svanberg.
The last few days have had summer temperatures in several parts of the country, where the daily average temperature has been over 10 degrees. In Malmö, the highest temperature this year of 21.1 degrees was measured on Tuesday.
“Could still be nice”
With ten days into the month, the next two weeks are now predicted to be colder than the last few days.
– On the other hand, it can be 15 to 16 degrees, but it is easy to be deceived by the temperature if it is windy. If the days are sunny and windless, they can still be nice, says Lovisa Svanberg.
The weather in April is usually characterized by alternating weather – where one moment it can be sunshine and summer temperatures, and the next it offers snow, rain and cold.
– This is because April is right between winter, spring and summer, says Lovisa Svanberg.
