Pokémon GO is starting another spotlight hour. What does the event on November 12th, 2024 bring? All information.
What kind of event is this? Spotlight Hour runs every Tuesday in Pokémon GO. Accordingly, there will be a few spotlight hours again in November.
Over the course of this hour, you will encounter a significantly increased number of Pokémon that appear everywhere in the wild. On top of that there is a bonus that makes the lesson even more interesting.
Bonus & Pokémon on November 12th: You’ll meet the Pokémon Olini in the Spotlight Hour on November 12th. On top of that, there’s a bonus that gives you double XP when you evolve Pokémon.

Spotlight hour: Start and content on November 12th, 2024 – Is it worth it?
When does the spotlight hour start? It starts at 6:00 p.m. At 7:00 p.m. it ends again and the normal spawns appear again.
Which bonus can I use? You can get extra XP when developing. The best way to do this is to use the filter function in your Pokémon collection, where you can click on “can evolve”. This is how you find the monsters that you can develop.
Is there Shiny Olini? Yes, the dazzling version of Olini is also present in Pokémon GO. She debuted recently, at the Harvest Festival event. However, keep in mind that the chance is not increased.
Is the spotlight hour worth it? Neither Olini nor his evolutions are among the best attackers in Pokémon GO. So if you’re looking for a strong fighter, you won’t find it with Olini.
Shiny hunters who have not yet been able to catch the little Pokémon in the shiny version might have better luck. With the many spawns in the evening, you have a decent opportunity to secure the shiny variant – even if the shiny rate itself is not increased.
And last but not least, it’s at least worth grabbing the XP bonus when developing during this hour. This is a great way to collect experience points to boost your XP account a little on the way to level 50.
