Spotlight Hour on November 26th – Start and Bonuses
When does the spotlight hour start? As always, the spotlight hour begins at 6:00 p.m. The event runs for 60 minutes and ends at 7:00 p.m.
Which bonuses are active? If you catch Pokémon during the Spotlight Hour, you will receive double the amount of experience points. It doesn’t matter which Pokémon you catch – the bonus applies to all monsters you catch.
If you use a lucky egg, you can double the number of experience points again.
Can you catch shiny wattles? Yes. If you’re lucky, you can also find and catch Wattzapf’s shiny form.
Is the spotlight hour worth it? If you’re looking for reinforcements for your raid teams, then you won’t find them in this event. Neither Wattzapf nor its evolution are among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
Things are no different in the fighting league. Here too, the Pokémon cannot score points and you should avoid using them.
If you are currently busy collecting experience points, then the event could be worth it for you to receive a small additional boost. By doubling the amount of experience points when catching and using lucky eggs, you can get some XP in these 60 minutes.
