Spotifya special in-app application that will offer personalized product recommendations based on users’ listening habits. Merch Hubmakes available. This new feature simplifies the shopping experience for fans by combining all artist merchandise in one place.
Users can explore various products and learn more by clicking on them, and if they decide to purchase, they can do so through the artist’s Spotify store, thanks to a partnership with Shopify.
Heather Ellis, Product Marketing Manager for Fan Monetization at Spotify, described Merch Hub as “the first merchandising experience tailored to an individual’s listening habits and fandoms.” Spotify aims to provide personalized recommendations based on users’ music preferences.
The move aligns with Spotify’s mission to support artists by allowing them to make a living from their art. The company noted that it saw an increase in product sales during Spotify Wrapped results release last year. This year’s Spotify Wrapped is expected to be released in the last week of November.
To access the new Merch Hub, users can search for “Merch” or navigate to the Merch tile on the Browse page in the Spotify app.

This layer is also expected to allow users to filter content libraries based on their mood, activity or genre.
