Spotify boss rages at Harry and Meghan: ‘Fucking frauds’

Spotify has parted ways with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Now podcast manager Bill Simmons rages against the prince couple.
– Damn fraudsters, that’s the podcast we should have launched with them, he says
Variety.

It seems that there has been a real rift between Spotify’s head of podcasts, Bill Simmons, and Prince Harry.

– I have to get drunk one night and tell the story of the Zoom meeting I had with Harry to try to help him with his podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories, says Bill Simmons in a podcast, according to American Variety.

Interviewed big names

Namely, Prince Harry had a podcast together with his wife Meghan Markle. There, Markle interviewed big names such as Mariah Carey and Serena Williams. But there was only barely one season, twelve episodes, for the couple’s podcast. Until last Thursday, it belonged on Spotify.

– Damn fraudsters, that’s the podcast we should have launched with them, says Bill Simmons according to the newspaper.

According to reports, the couple received $20 million from Spotify to make the podcast. But the agreement was canceled prematurely.

Exactly what is behind the break-up is not fully known. But the Wall Street Journal previously reported that it was because the princely couple did not meet production requirements. According to the parties themselves, however, everyone must have agreed to shut down the podcast.
