Province of Utrecht – HOCKEY Xan de Waard is no longer part of the Dutch hockey team for the time being. The hockey player from the Bilthoven SCHC indicated in a personal conversation with the new national coach Raoul Ehren that she needs space and wants to spend less time on hockey. De Waard, who was part of the team that won Olympic gold in Paris last summer, is therefore missing from the first training group that Ehren put together. (Monday October 28)
