HANDBALL Henrik Signell, the new national coach of the Dutch handball women, has left Leusden veteran Laura van der Heijden out of his first selection. The Swede wants to see other players in action in the first round of the Golden League, the friendly tournament in which the Netherlands will compete against Norway, Denmark and Germany from October 24 to 27. Angela Malestein from Bunschoten, also a veteran, is in the eighteen-person selection. (Monday October 14)
