CYCLING Bart Lemmen just missed out on winning the Coppa Bernocchi. The Utrechter escaped from a leading group 31 kilometers from the finish in the Italian hills and was only overtaken in the last kilometer. Lemmen finished fifth, the victory went to Belgian Stan van Tricht. (Monday October 7)
