CYCLING Lorena Wiebes has won the prologue of the Baloise Ladies Tour. The 25-year-old cyclist from Mijdrecht completed the 2.7-kilometre course with start and finish in Hulst in 3.16.140. Belgian Fien Van Eynde, from Fenix-Deceuninck, lost more than 5 seconds to Wiebes and clocked a time of 3.21.390. The first stage follows on Thursday, from Breskens to Knokke-Heist. That is a ride of more than 113 kilometres. The Baloise Ladies Tour lasts until Sunday. (Wednesday July 17)
