TENNIS Many successes for Utrecht residents at the various ITF tournaments. Guy den Ouden from Breukelen reached the second round in Brussels with a 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 win over the Belgian Emilien Demanet. In Alkmaar, Soester Abel Forger won in the first round 6-2, 6-2 against fellow countryman Guy den Heijer.
At the same tournament, Britt du Pree from Houten reached the second round in doubles together with Isis van den Broek. Utrecht Elgin Khoeblal and Sidane Pontjodikromo were also successful in doubles in Alkmaar. (Tuesday June 25)
