CYCLING Lorena Wiebes has won the third stage of the Tour of Burgos. The Dutch rider from SD Worx-Protime was supreme in the sprint of the peloton, after a ride from Roa de Duero to Melgar de Fernamental over 122 kilometers. Wiebes kept the Italian Clara Copponi and the Dutch Maike van der Duin behind her. There was a massive crash in the group a mile before the finish. The fourth and final stage follows on Sunday, a difficult mountain stage to Canicosa de la Sierra. (Saturday May 18)
