CYCLING Lars van den Berg will be at the start next Saturday in the last major classic of the cycling season, the Tour of Lombardy. In preparation, the rider from De Meern rode in Italy on Monday. He crossed the line in 67th place, almost six minutes behind winner Wout van Aert. Lennard Hofstede from Veenendaal did not reach the finish.(Monday October 2)
