On December 8 and 9, Sport Unlimitech, the benchmark event that combines sport and technology, founded by Frédéric Michalak, is coming to Toulouse. Something to invest in sport differently and come back to its health benefits.
Whether you are keen on sport, technology or simply well-being (or all three at the same time), you should be interested in what is being prepared in Toulouse: after Lyon, Nice and Lille, the Sport Unlimitech event s settles in the pink city, the weekend of December 8 and 9. A two-day event of which Doctissimo is a partner.
Sport Unlimited, what is it?
It is a large gathering of players in sport and tech, particularly around performance. Conferences, exhibitions, moments of meetings with sportsmen and tech players will punctuate the two days built in co-production with the Stade Toulousain.
With such an association (sport and innovation), the themes addressed throughout the two days cover a wide range of topics affecting the well-being of everyone, whether you are a Sunday sportsman or a high-level athlete: lifestyle, mental health, e-sport, concussions, etc. So many subjects that can play on motivation.
Sport, a central theme in health
The event covers sport at 360 degrees, with a notable angle on health, led in particular by Dr. Gérald Kierzek, medical director of Doctissimo, during a round table.
“The subject of sport to maintain health is important, we know today that with all this health crisis, we must review our hygiene and dietary measures, and therefore review our relationship to physical exercise. Get back to physical exercise when you are too sedentary, get back to sport when you can… A gradation which should be reimbursed to fight against sedentary lifestyle, but which is not yet. We can also talk about bigorexia, this addiction to sport that affects 15% of athletes…“In short, something to reach a wide audience.
The place of sport in our lives, this is the subject that can be addressed in a concrete way in this event. “Let’s not forget that 90% of cardiovascular diseases could be avoided by our lifestyle” summarizes the doctor.
Sport as a virtuous circle of good health? The event should speak to many: according to a recent Insee study, 2 out of 3 French people are considered sporty. And you?
