Sport: The Minister of the Interior confirms: Prevented a suspected attack against the Olympics in Paris

On Wednesday, the prosecutor’s office in Paris announced that a 40-year-old Russian man was arrested in his apartment, according to AP.

The reason is that he is suspected of carrying out intelligence work on behalf of a foreign power. The police, after a search of the house, must have found objects that gave rise to suspicion of damage to the Olympic Games.

    – We are still working on this case, the Minister of the Interior told the channel and points out that it has not been determined that the young man intended to attack the games.
