Lia Leiderö Palmlöv is only 17 years old but already plays in the U18 national team. On weekdays, she faces pucks in Djurgården and when there was a home game against SDE on Thursday evening, the teenager played big between the posts.
She received a total of 35 shots and only one puck found its way into her goal cage, when SDE reduced to 1-2 in a numerical superiority after just over half the match. Shae Demale with his 19th goal of the season.
However, her teammates out on the ice managed to do a few more than that. Tereza Plosova gave Djurgården the lead already after three minutes of play when she sent the puck up the crossbar.
The same cross later found Anneke Linser to make it 2-0 and her 14th goal of the season. When the shop closed, Ellen Laurence scored her first goal in the Djurgårdsträyan.
