HOCKEY Schaerweijde suffered a hopeless defeat in the semi -final of the Gold Cup. The promotion class from Zeist lost 8-1 to Den Bosch, the number 3 of the big league. Schaerweijde started flashing when Lucas Corstens already gave the team ahead for four minutes from a penalty corner, but was then overflowing. Bilthomen Thierry Brinkman once scored for Den Bosch.
