Here are the main new features:

  • When returning from winter holidays in each zone(February 21, 2022 for zone B, February 28, 2022 for zone A and March 7, 2022 for zone C, the new reduced protocol at school makes it possible to practice physical and sports activities again in inside without wearing a mask (respecting a distance: contact sports are therefore not authorized without a mask);
  • Since January 24, 2022, the vaccination pass replaces the health pass for those over 16 and for access to establishments and activities which already required a health pass.
  • the wearing a mask becomes mandatory again and it is strictly forbidden to remove it even temporarily in indoor and outdoor sports equipment (ERP X and PA), except when practicing sports and its effective supervision.
  • Reception conditions in sports venues are also changing with a limitation to 2,000 people for events organized indoors and 5,000 people outdoors
  • The consumption of food and beverages is prohibited in sports areas.

What rules for skiing?

According to Ministry of Tourism websitehere are the rules that apply to skiing:

  • Compulsory health pass for people aged 12 and over and under 16 and mandatory vaccination pass for people aged 16 and over for all ski lifts.
  • Mandatory mask wearing for people aged 6 or over who access or stay in closed ski lift vehicles as well as access spaces located in closed places.
  • The mask is not necessary on the chairlifts and drag lifts, on the mats which are only used by one person at a time, or when practicing alpine skiing, ski touring and Nordic skiing.
  • The ski lift operator ensures, as far as possible, the physical distance of users or groups of users traveling together, taking into account the constraints specific to each means of transport, as well as in the preparatory area for boarding. .

What rules for sports at school?

According to a press release published by the Ministry of National Education on February 11, 2022, thee health protocol goes from level 3 to level 2 in the first degree for the whole of the metropolitan territory on the return from the winter holidays for each zone (February 21, 2022 for zone B, February 28, 2022 for zone A and March 7, 2022 for zone C). This change means in particular:

  • The end of the obligation to wear a mask outdoors for elementary school students and staff;

In the school setting, contact sports are not allowed, indicates level 3 of the protocol at school. Concretely, are considered as contact sports all the sports for which the pupils are likely to come into contact such as team sports, judo, wrestling, martial arts… In clubs, contact sports remain a priori authorized.

What rules for team sports?

Level 3 protocol in schools prohibits indoor and contact sports, so team sports are not allowed in school settings. The protocol recommends a distance of 2 meters outdoors. On the other hand, they are a priori possible in club.

Spectators

Since February 1, no more gauges. Until February 15, the people welcomed must have a seat. The organizer enforces the physical distance between spectators according to the regulations in force (law and protocols). These provide for a physical distance of 2 meters in an enclosed environment and outdoors when wearing a mask is not possible. A physical distance of at least one meter must be respected in all places and in all circumstances. It is recommended that a minimum distance of one seat be left between the seats occupied by each person seated or each group of up to 10 people coming together.

What rules for children?

The presentation of the health pass has become compulsory from 12 years old, on September 30, 2021, for access to sports equipment, for practice in a club and in the competitions. It is not compulsory for sports practiced at school (EPS lessons, gymnasiums, swimming pools, etc.) since schools are not subject to the presentation of the health pass. Young people who turn 12 during the year have 2 months to present their health pass in order to give them time to complete their vaccination schedule. The PCR and antigen tests remain free for minors.

What rules at the pool?

Since June 9, 2021, the swimming pools are open. They are accessible on condition of presenting a health pass for people aged 12 and over. On site, the collective locker rooms are open and there is no maximum gauge.

Can we do sports after an anti-Covid vaccine?

Like all vaccines, Covid vaccines are linked to a risk of adverse effects after the injection and require some precautions.
