Dying Light 2 is a feast for fans of bloody zombie battles. Around Christmas, the action RPG gets even more festive with a special vendor and skins to match.
How do you bring festive Christmas cheer to a zombie slasher? No idea, but the action RPG Dying Light 2 has thought of something special.
The Winter Tales event is running in the game until January 5th. A special vendor will offer you themed cosmetics if you bring him gifts that nasty zombies took from the townsfolk.
We show you what the event has to offer on MeinMMO. You can find the trailer for the event here:
Dying Light 2: Winter Tales – Scary nice event
What does the event offer my character? The Dying Light 2 winter event is all about zombies’ stolen candy and gifts.
Kill a few dozen of the putrid enemies and visit the bazaar. Here you will find the special dealer “Baka”. In exchange for collected event items, you can get themed Christmas items here – including funny hats, decorated weapons or masks.
If you reach Baka merchant level 5, you get the complete nutcracker skin:
If you bring 20 gifts back to Baka, he will also give you a paraglider that goes with the Nutcracker outfit.
There is also a community event running alongside: If all participating players have brought a total of 6 million gifts to Baka, everyone will be given a special weapon.
What else is different? The damn zombies. Many opponents have received a festive upgrade, wear elf costumes, are hung with fairy lights or are reminiscent of an undead Grinch version. You can also find some visual upgrades in the bazaar.
Dying Light 2 was released in early 2022 and was very successful when it was released. The game is still being supported and developed.
However, the release in February 2022 was overshadowed by an even bigger bang, which is currently running its first big sale and is 30% off: One of the best games of the year is finally on sale – grab Elden Ring on Steam, PS5, Xbox
