“It is unclear what they have used, but it is something they have had in their hands,” says Anders Wennergren, officer on duty at the police in the west region.
The police raised the alarm about the car internally and then suddenly a police car spotted the suspect car and started following it.
The pursuit continued from Olskroken towards Lerum, and then turned back towards Gothenburg again, for about 15 minutes.
“The car is stopped with a nail mat, and two people are arrested,” says Wennergren.
The incident is classified as gross abuse of means of transportation.
