Hobbyists found 404 Roman and British coins of silver and gold in Bunnik. It is a unique combination for the European mainland and the largest Roman coin treasure ever excavated in the province of Utrecht. The coins were purchased by the Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden, where they can be admired from today.
