What are the arrangements for the specialty tests this year?

This year, due to Covid-19, the specialty tests have been postponed, with some adjustments to allow each student to benefit from the same chances of success in the baccalaureate:

  • All subjects are laid out so that everyone, according to their specialty, can have a choice of questions or exercises
  • The two days preceding the tests are devoted, in the establishments, to exam revisionsfinal year students having only their specialty courses;
  • The tests specific to the language level certificate are cancelled, exceptionally for this year.

At last, “instead of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written specialty tests, the averages obtained by the candidates in these courses over the three quarters of the first class and the two first trimesters of the final class“, adds the ministry.

Invitation and day of the event: how is the EDS going?

Initially scheduled for March, the specialty education tests have been postponed due to the health crisis, to allow all students to pass them fairly. However, the program has not been extended, the students thus having additional time for their revisions. According to a press release from the Ministry of National Education on May 11, these first tests will be held “for the first time in the intended format”. Thus, it is recommended to arrive at the examination center 30 minutes before the start of the test. .
