Special turnaround in the traditional Paijanne round the organizer

During the Päijänne racing, many drivers received a time sentence for speeding. Eventually the sanctions were dismantled.

The traditional Päijänne surroundings at the weekend were originally awarded to the drivers who had driven the transition at a point where the restriction was 30 km/h.

Time reconnaissance was given to riders whose speed had been more than 50 kilometers per hour.

The results of the race changed, which influenced, among other things, two and three.

After the race, one driver made a protest that no speeding was fined with those with slightly exceeding the restriction. In the name of equity, the jury ended in the removal of the penalties for a large group of driver.

Hence Albert Juhola was the second and Hermanni Hajala third. The victory of the party Eemil Pohjolan The changes had no effect on the first investment.

Competition director Sanna Kärkkäinen says the mistake was the organizers.

– We only sentenced the most blatant cases. The time sanction should also have been given to those who have less speeding. As the smoothness did not materialize, we took the fines from everyone, Kärkkäinen opens the removal of time sentences.

Thus, the offenses of less speeding drivers were not recorded in the minutes. Afterwards, it would have been possible to punish them, so they decided to have an equitable outcome for everyone.

– We also made the mistake of setting up those who had a more blatant case underneath. It was not equal to everyone.

Kärkkäinen was the competition director for the event for the second time. According to him, no such thing has happened in recent years.

– In the past, there has been supervision of speeds and lights in the dark. Now it hasn’t been for a moment. We now ended up supervising because there have been complaints about the crash on the roads. We want to ensure security, says Kärkkäinen.
