BAC MATHS. A few days before the special math test for the baccalaureate, what should we revise?
On June 19 and 20, final year students will take the various specialty tests to obtain the baccalaureate. Many of them have chosen to follow the mathematics specialty education and will therefore have to arm themselves with their heads and their calculator to best succeed in this test, which counts coefficient 16 in the baccalaureate average (like all specialties) .
They will have four hours to answer four exercises, at least one of which is presented in the form of a multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ). To practice, they have subjects from previous years and those from 2024 taken during exams abroad.
What are the subjects that can probably fall in the maths baccalaureate this year?
Several specialized sites establish predictions each year concerning the subjects which will fall in the baccalaureate, and this year is no exception. These tips are primarily intended to help students in their revisions and to prepare them for exams thanks to standard statements that could perfectly be found on an exam sheet. Certain subjects in fact regularly fall into the specialized maths baccalaureate, this is the case of “geometry in space”, “sequences”, “exponential functions, natural logarithm functions”, “integral calculus”, ” probabilities: succession of independent tests, Bernoulli scheme” and the chapter “continuity and theorem of intermediate values”. These are therefore themes that should not be put aside, quite the contrary.
Conversely, there are less probable themes, this is the case of “probabilities: sums of random variables” and “probabilities: concentration, law of large numbers”, but also of “primitives”, of ” convexity”, and chapters “composed of two functions”, “combinatorics and counting” and geometry in space: orthogonal projection of a hard point a line, on a plane”. However, if these chapters fall more rarely this means. that they sometimes fall, it cannot be excluded that some of them make up the subjects of the 2024 special maths test. They should not be neglected either.
What are the special math subjects for the 2024 baccalaureate in foreign centers?
In French schools abroad, the baccalaureate exams always take place some time before the start of those in mainland France. For the moment only foreign centers in North America have taken the baccalaureate exams, for those from other regions of the globe, they will take place in June, a few days before France, Reunion and Mayotte. In North America as elsewhere, students are separated into two groups, one takes the first day and the other the next day, in fact the two groups do not have the same subjects.
