The province now hopes to have found part of the solution in a special crash barrier dubbed “an innovative solution”. The crash barrier is actually a combination between a crash barrier and a noise barrier. That screen is placed diagonally, so that the sound is reflected to the verge, where the sound can be absorbed. That should reduce noise pollution.
