Spanish Police Arrest Smugglers – Accused of Murdering Migrants | News in brief

Spanish police say they arrested seven human traffickers on Sunday. They are accused of murdering four migrants on board the ship on November 3.

The migrants were on a ship from Gambia crossing the sea from Africa to the Canary Islands. The police described the arrested as the ship’s captains. They had 207 asylum seekers with them during the suspected murders in November.

The police started an investigation because other asylum seekers described the trip as creepy.
