Spakenburg farmer who neglected 128 cows hears sentence 20000 euros

The NVWA found twice that 128 cows were kept in appalling conditions. The second time the NVWA came to inspect, it was decided to confiscate the cattle. Five animals were in such a bad condition that it was better to put them out of their misery. When the livestock farmer did not accept this, he spat and threatened the NVWA inspector, after which he was arrested.
