(Finance) – Unemployment increases in Spain in September. According to what was found by Ministry of Labour Iberian, there was a monthly increase in the number of unemployed of 19,768 units, compared to +24,800 units in the month of August and the -12,200 expected by analysts.
The comparison with the same month of the previous year highlights a decrease in unemployed of 219,451 units (-7.5%). The total number of unemployed stood at 2,722,468 people, the lowest value since 2008.
There youth unemploymentdown for 29 consecutive months, stands at 17,043 units.
