(Finance) – The decreases unemployment in Spain in the month of June 2024. According to the Iberian Ministry of Labor, there was a monthly decrease in unemployment of around 46,800 units, compared to -58,700 units in May. Analysts’ estimates were for a decrease of 50,900 units.
The comparison with the same month of the previous year shows a decrease in the number of unemployed of 127 thousand units (-4.75%). The total number of unemployed stood at 2,861,067 people, the lowest value since August 2008.
There youth unemploymentis reduced by 4 thousand units and stands at a historic low of 175,136 units.
