(Finance) – Growth in retail trade slows in Spain in November. According to the latest survey of theNational Institute of Statistics Spanish (INE), retail sales recorded growth of 1% on an annual basis after the +3.4% reported in October (figure revised from a preliminary of +3.5%). Analysts’ estimates were for an increase of 2.8%.
On a monthly basis, there was a decrease of 0.6% after the zero change in the previous month.
There raw series (not seasonally adjusted) recorded an increase of 2% on an annual basis.
