Spacex’s Starship rocket on ice shelf for investigation | News in brief

US Aeronautics and Space Administration FAA requires Spacex to investigate the destruction of the Starship rocket and suspends Starship for the duration of the investigation.

Flights can only resume when the FAA has approved the final report of the investigation and is satisfied that there is no danger to public safety.

Last night, Spacex confirmed that the Starship rocket was destroyed on launch and the ship’s debris re-entered the atmosphere.

The FAA says it is investigating a report that debris caused havoc in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
