SpaceX, the space transportation company owned by US businessman Elon Musk, has sent 40 more internet satellites belonging to London-based communications firm OneWeb into orbit.
The Falcon-9 rocket carrying the satellites was successfully launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 23:50 local time. It has been learned that thanks to the new satellites sent into orbit, the capacity of OneWeb to provide internet service will increase.
In addition, the last mission was recorded as SpaceX’s second launch for OneWeb, which received space transportation service from Russia before the Ukraine war.
SpaceX sent another 40 internet satellites belonging to OneWeb into orbit last December 9th.
