Space Battle for Avatar 2 was brilliant and took several
Avatar 2: The Way of Water delivers bombastic Na’Vi battles in different areas. In principle, only the exchange of blows in space is missing. Director James Cameron actually wanted that in the film. And at great expense he wrote a new screenplay for it. James Cameron’s Avatar 2 idea with Na’Vi space battle was ‘brilliant’

As co-writer Rick Jaffa recently reported to Entertainment Weekly:

We talked a lot about […] a space battle with the Na’Vi. But it was difficult. How did that fit into the rest of the story? [James Cameron] said, “Give me a couple of weeks.” He went and wrote a full screenplay. A brilliant script.

But in the end, even Cameron’s brilliant new version could failed to overcome the story difficulties and the idea was dropped. But who knows? In three other upcoming Avatar parts, a Na’Vi space battle will almost inevitably still be seen.

It is possible that fans will be delighted with it in the next part of the sci-fi series. But until then they will have to wait a little longer. Avatar 3 will be released on December 18, 2024 in the cinema.
