S&P assigns Prysmian an “investment grade” rating

SP assigns Prysmian an investment grade rating

(Finance) – To the Group Prysmian has been assigned an investment grade rating by S&P Global Ratings. The group has a long-term issuer rating of BBB- level with stable prospects.

“The investment grade rating is a very important goal and further confirmation of the Prysmian Group’s financial solidity. This step is even more significant considering the current financial markets, characterized by inflationary pressures and much higher interest rates, and further strengthens our sustainable growth strategy” – declares the Chief Financial Officer Pier Francesco Facchini -. Prysmian’s growth strategy is underpinned by structural drivers such as growing electrification, the acceleration of the transition to renewable sources and the development of fiber optic networks, which contribute to the growth of most of our business segments. Our consolidated ability to generate growing cash flows has led to a constant reduction of financial debt and will further strengthen our financial position in the coming years, while allowing us to seize the significant growth opportunities ahead of us”, concludes Facchini.
