(Finance) – Seven mega-cap companies based in the United States (Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Nvidia, Tesla And Half) represent the 29.6% of the entire capitalization of the S&P 500the most important US stock index and the one made up of the 500 largest capitalized US companies.
We read it in a note from Bank of America Global Research, where it is indicated that the market cap of the so-called “magnificent seven” reached a new record, exceeding the 29.1% reached in 2022. The level had fallen to the lowest level of the last three years at the beginning of 2023 (at 20%), before benefiting from the mega-cap rally and the affirmation of Nvidia.
