(Finance) – Southern Highwaysdealer listed on Euronext Milan, announced that the State Council rejected the appeal proposed by the company for the sentence that had affirmed the legitimacy of the provision of award to the SIS Consortium the concession of the management and maintenance activities of theA3 Naples-Pompeii-Salerno motorway. “The sentence has, in a nutshell, considered that the assessments carried out by the Contracting Authority in relation to the offer of the SIS Consortium were free from defects”, reads a note.
With today’s decision of the Council of State, the award provision in favor of the SIS Consortium is effective and therefore the takeover of the new concessionaire is expected in the coming months in the management and maintenance of the A3 Naples-Pompeii-Salerno motorway.
