South Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-Soo has offered to resign after the ruling Conservative Party (PPP) received disastrously low numbers in parliamentary elections, South Korean media reports.
The PPP’s party leader and several advisers to the president have also offered to leave their posts.
After nearly all votes were counted in Wednesday’s election, the opposition is heading for a landslide victory, a tough blow to President Yoon Suk-Yeol and his PPP.
