North Korea is demolishing a visitor center in the Kumgang Mountain, which has been used as a meeting place for families separated by the Korean War. The Ministry of Association of South Korea reports on this.
In a statement to North Korea, the Ministry of Association, which deals with relationships between countries, urges the dismantling of a center on the border of the countries to be suspended immediately.
The ministry says that the demolition of the center is a “inhumane act that traces the sincere wishes of separated families”.
About a year ago, North Korea announced that it would no longer seek the merger of Korean. At the same time, agencies in the country were abolished.
