South Korea could not send “Nuri” into space! Launch delayed due to technical reasons

According to Yonhap’s report, the launch date of the 200-ton rocket “Nuri”, which is planned to be launched from Naro Space Center, was postponed as a result of the meeting of the rocket launch management committee.

In a statement, Deputy Minister of Science Oh Tae-seog stated that the engineers who made the final checks detected a software error and therefore the launch of the rocket was delayed.

MEETING AGAIN

The committee will meet again to decide when to launch the rocket.

The “Nuri” rocket, the launch of which was delayed for 5 days in 2022 due to a malfunction in the tank sensor, successfully brought the model satellite it carried to its orbit, making South Korea the 7th country to develop a rocket that will send more than 1 ton of satellites into space.

Other countries that achieved this were Russia, the USA, France, China, Japan and India. (AA)
