The province of Haut-Mbomou, in the south-east of the Central African Republic, was again shaken by violence. Fighting took place on Monday June 20 between the self-defense group of the Zandé community and the rebels of the UPC (Unity for Peace in the Central African Republic), members of the CPC coalition (Coalition des patriotes pour le ). Fighting for control of the Mboki sub-prefecture, in a region where the state is largely absent.
